Also I just realized I'm a grown up now and could totally just buy a Tim Raines shirt which would be awesome. Thanks stillgothope.com. You've made my life better.WWWWWWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13029975451902509241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8133174575812597251.post-64637503020457535672012-01-26T21:58:57.944-06:002012-01-26T21:58:57.944-06:00Who is Jeff? I heard he even won you $20 this weekend when he beat Ehren in poker....wait, I think I said to much.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8133174575812597251.post-27556652610494057412012-01-26T15:38:23.554-06:002012-01-26T15:38:23.554-06:00Jeff, is that you?

With his durability (157+ games in every season but one) it may become moot because he's 4 years away from 3000 hits (2428 now). This past year was the first year he didn't record 200 hits. He's received MVP votes 9 times and won it in his "rookie" year. Just think if he was in the league at 23 or so; he'd already be well over 3000. (He had 1278 hits in Japan)

And despite being in the "retard" spot on D, he's been a premier defender. He's the active career leader in Range Factor for a RFer and 10th all time.

Oh yeah, and he's a career .326 hitter and a .426 hitter in the playoffs; too bad Seattle never gets there. Despite not taking walks he has a respectable .370 OBP as well.TREhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11939079336546984895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8133174575812597251.post-54861401965982754412012-01-26T13:16:56.535-06:002012-01-26T13:16:56.535-06:00What about a guy like Ichiro Suziki when he retire...What about a guy like Ichiro Suziki when he retires...is he a HOF'er?

A singles hitter who plays the same position as they put retards and fat kids during pick-up games.

A lead-off hitter who can't draw walks and has never led his team anywhere.

If there were a fashion wing of Cooperstown I would put him in, but that is about it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
